Tim Clifford has felt called into ministry from a young age. The calling was nurtured by a loving church and youth group which gave him opportunities to explore ministry in the form of youth preaching, teaching, and worship leading. After graduating from Southern Methodist University with a BA in Religious Studies in 2018, Tim went straight into his seminary education at Perkins School of Theology, graduating with his MDiv in May of 2021. His passions include Greek, music, digital ministry, and community building.
Tim married his high school sweetheart, Katie, in 2019, and together they are raising two tuxedo cats named Daisy Rose and Dandy Lion.
In his free time, Tim enjoys reading, playing video games, and homebrewing beer.
Jo is thrilled to be back at Crowley serving as the music director. Jo served Crowley 16 years ago as the music director while attending Brite Divinity School. Jo brings years of experience to Crowley having served several churches in the Central Texas Conference as well as the Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church (and a few Baptist churches along the way…). Jo has led regional events for the conference as well as led several combined choirs for pre-service concerts at annual conference. Jo received her Bachelor’s degree from Asbury University; Master’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University; Course of Study from Brite Divinity School; and is a Certified Church Musician in the United Methodist Church having received her certificate from Perkins School of Theology.
Jo is passionate about leading worship viewing it as a way to open people’s hearts to receive the message that God has given. Jo is a firm believer that no one should ever know what her favorite music might be and that the Holy Spirit guides and directs the service in order to change people’s lives. Jo currently leads worship, the Chancel Choir, children’s choir and the handbell choir. There are several occasions throughout the year for special groups such as the Christmas Choir.
Jo can be contacted at email@example.com or 254-717-9705.
